Getting To Know Your Baby vision

With today’s 3D / 4D technology, parents are able to see their babies yawn, cry and even perform finger movements. The realistic 3 and 4 dimensional scans provide a connection between parents and child that are beneficial for the whole family to enjoy, instead of the traditional 2D baby ultrasound scan that most parents are used to seeing at their doctor’s office.

3D ultrasound and 4D ultrasound are essentially the same technology with the only difference being 4D adds the dimension of time, thus creating a video scan.

Our Vision

We offer 3D and 4D ultrasound packages that make wonderful keepsakes from you pregnancy. Throughout your life you will enjoy having your 3d ultrasound video and photos.

Some feel that seeing their baby in 3D / 4D even once is already precious enough. However some mothers wish to monitor their baby’s growth more closely, they may choose to see their baby more than once; having the 1st scan between 20 weeks and 26 weeks and then again between 27 weeks and 34 weeks. During these two periods, your baby’s facial definition will be more developed giving you a more realistic look at how your baby is developing. The amount of time needed for the scan varies with each mother. A sonographer may not always get a good view of the perineum (private parts) of the fetus for a variety of reasons such as fetal position, amount of liquor and thickness of the abdominal wall and therefore may not provide you with an accurate answer. However, if the baby is cooperating, determining the fetus gender may take as quickly as 5-10 minutes.

2D Baby Ultrasounds For Gender Determination

Our 2D baby ultrasound scans are similar to the ultrasounds taken with your healthcare provider during your early week of pregnancy. However because of the time of pregnancy during which these scans are taken, it is often too early to accurately determine the gender of your baby.

Unlike your health care provider, who usually cannot schedule your next ultrasound until 20+ weeks, our trained sonographers can help you determine the fetal gender.
